Yesterday was pure madness. Today's even a greater form of madness.
14th January, 6.30pm - Plaza Singapura
after radio yesterday, me, noor, hana and deb made our way to PS and waited for the arrival of taufik at MJ. There were way too many people; mainly makciks. what a shocking thing to see! 80% were apparently melayus. SIGH. I don't really like the sight of too many melayus at one place; I'll get really pissed, godknowswhy. Okay so all of us were like excited but when he FINALLY came, I kinda lost the excitement a lil. Sure he's like uber hot and all but the whole situation made me a tad furious. The "special appearance" was only like what, FIVE minutes? hahah! I was expecting more like seeing him sing or sth but he couldn't even stand properly in the music store, without being pushed by fans! What the hell is wrong with these fans - inclusive of makciks! Why can't they act like proper human beings and not like barbarians? I mean i was screaming my heads off too but i know when not to push and when to squeeze my way through. There were kids there, for god's sake!
I din manage to get nice pictures, bah! my camera just loved screwing up on me when I especially needed it! Ah wells. But the good thing is I managed to shake his hands for quite a while! And he looked at me while I was shaking his hands and smiled so tats good. and i must tell this to everyone. his hands were fucking smooth and soft! Perhaps he wore moisturiser or sth, lol. I know this because i was rubbing his hands! ok shut up, but im just a pervert when it comes to taufik. This is already my second time doing that, man I just gotta stop! I have to practise self control, dammit. hahah!
anywayys. his album wasn't fantastic. it wasn't like the best album ive heard of course but its a good effort on his part; vocals were polished.
Ok moving on to today. Had dikir practice which rocks balls. The people there are a bunch of sweethearts (except noor . lol.) and they made me feel so welcome. so while i was at the lib, noor msged me telling me she was going to see taufik again at CDANS. I was like, "where the fark is tt place!?" and i was unconvinced that she was telling the truth. I mean, noor's not a die hard fan yo. after much assurance, i went ahead with ellin and noor.
OMG. They were right. Taufik was there! And he performed two songs - Me and mr jones and I dream. Pure orgasmic experience. Its actually a fundraising event for the Tsunami Victims organized by the police force, i reckon? But the duh thing was that NONE of us brought cameras along!! It was so last minute! I just wanted to hit myself on the wall or sth! We were like right infront somemore! *fumes*
he performed me and mrs jones and then all of us had to do body combat workouts. the most hilarious thing today! I mean u see all taufik fans trying to do workouts for the sake of taufik! Me, noor and ellin were laughing our asses out! Its been ages since i last do something so vigorous. oh what insanity. It was actually quite fun at first; whats with Thai kickboxing and all. coolness. but after awhile, it gets too irritating to bear because number one, the workouts were neverending, then the worst thing was that they were playing techno/trance songs while doing the workouts! like helloooo, i was fricken giddy okay! The fact that I haven taken lunch makes it all worst! After godknows how long, taufik sang I dream for us, as beautifully as always. but once again, i wanted to hit myself against the nearest wall, because taufik was so close to me, i could have video-ed him! uggggh. and then HE had to do those body combat workouts! he looked oh so deliciously yummy when he's sweating like that, SWOON. he was just infront of me! ugggh. if only i had camera with me, if only!! whatever, u win some u lose some. i dont get to take his pictures/videos but at least i got to see him sing, shook his hands and see him do those workouts sexily right infront of my very eyes. err riiiiiiiight, im just trying to comfort myself. lol.
oh man taufikism has to end today. because ive got like TONS of assignments and reading up to do! till laterrrr!
