All i needed was last night - Avril lavigne's BONEZ gig.
There wasn't any moshing or any body surfing going on but heck, i enjoyed myself tremendously. It has been awhile since i last went to a proper concert and i thought i would have lost my energy for it but boy, was i wrong. I think i was the most vigorous and crazy one in my seating area. My kuzz and bro was so shocked. i guess im this whole different person when i watch gigs. I get so arrrrrggggggghh, i'll just go wild! ok that wasnt necessary.
EXPECTATIONS
however, i must admit i expected much more from last night's gig. i dunno why but i expected people to go really crazy ( i think tt happened at simple plan's!) but the crowd was just not that happening in the beginning. They just took sooo long to warm up, grrr. Where got fun if there's no atmosphere, right! zzz. and the free standing crowd was not even half full! they should have put ME in there! hee. Thank god the seating arena was nearly full. I was merely sitting down and singing along to her songs (its a surprise i could remember most of her lyrics!) but i couldn't take it any longer when "skaterboy" came, so i just stood up, grooved and jumped up and down like a fool to that song. That propelled my kuzz and my bro ( the one who HATES avril) to do the same! CUTENESS! before i knew it, everyone else stood up and jumped up and down. The atmosphere's finally there!
i expected avril to be full of attitude (due to her press con) but she was nice and thats weird! But then again, she HAS to be nice because people are paying to see her perform, what! and i somehow expected her voice to be shaky and all but she proved me wrong. she has improved tremendously. she could carry off high notes so kudos to her lah. and she even played the drums, piano and guitar!
overall, it was a good gig. i sang along (thank god my voice cant be heard LOL), grooved along, and jumped alot. it was something that i needed - to just lose myself and go crazy.
and now, im suffering from a really bad soar throat.
THE THINGS I DO TO MYSELF.
